At Meridian Ranch International School, all students receive academic and social instruction that encourages and supports a love for learning while mastering grade level content standards. The collective commitment provides a relentless focus on learning while ensuring success for all students. Faculty members encourage and embrace parent and community engagement, as they strive to create a learning community where all members are dedicated to fulfilling the school's mission. The Colorado Model Content Standards serve as the foundation for the instructional program. The school provides differentiated instruction using a variety of research-based programs. It incorporates inquiry based instruction, technology integration and student participation in the arts and physical education.

The school is bustling with activity even after hours. It offers before and after school band and choir programs as well as cartooning, Science Matters and cooking classes. It also has basketball, Landsharks running club, student council, Girls on The Run and Battle of the Books.

Meridian Ranch International School has a supportive Parent-Teacher Association that sponsors many programs. It raises funds that help support teachers with generous mini-grants and major school wide projects. Other PTA-sponsored events are Start The Art Night, school-wide assemblies, Veterans Day assemblies, various after school classes, as well as Muffins with Moms and Doughnuts with Dads. There are more than 100 WatchDOGS (Dads of Great Students), volunteers who visit classrooms assisting teachers, walking the halls and spending the day with students.
