Grace Jiang is an alumna of Sand Creek High School and winner of the Boettcher Scholarship, a merit-based award for a full-ride to any four-year college in Colorado. Since 1952, the Boettcher Foundation has awarded nearly $60 million to some of Colorado’s best and brightest students. After a nomination by her school counselor, Jiang competed an application and wrote several leadership essays. She's planning on majoring in chemical engineering, and work in pharmaceuticals or the petroleum industry. Jiang is set to become Sand Creek High School's first Boettcher scholar, according to counselor Vicki Glaser.[1]
