General obligation bond[edit]

Shall Falcon School District 49 debt be increased by $195 million to acquire, construct and improve capital assets to enhance the teaching and learning environment by:

  • Building a 9-12 and two K-8 schools,
  • Maintaining, repairing and renovating existing school buildings,
  • Constructing additions and making improvements to existing schools and constructing new buildings to sustain pupil count growth,
  • Addressing critical health, safety and security concerns in district school buildings and improving their environmental sustainability,
  • Providing specialized spaces for career and technical education,
  • Acquiring and renovating building for special education and educational credential evaluators?

Mill levy override[edit]

Shall Falcon School District 49 taxes be increased by $4.6 million annually by the levy of additional property taxes for the purpose of:

  • Expanding existing academies and offering new career and technical education and concurrent enrollment options,
  • Expanding International Baccalaureate and science, technology, engineering and math programming,
  • Increasing academic coaching support and online courses,
  • Introducing new cassroom technology, including expansion of the one-to-one initiative for iPads in grades 3-8,
  • Enhancing Internet infrastructure, including wireless networks, bandwidth and guest access, to support more devices and improve reliability,
  • Improve preparedness for technology-based test and assessment systems,
  • Investing in a multi-year transition to differentiated compensation based on achievement and market factors
  • Increasing staff pay in support of strategic plan and priorities,
  • Supporting transitional positions to optimize new facilities and implement new and mandated programs, such as testing and graduation requirements,
  • Increasing the presence, training, and equipment for district security officers?
